Santhwanam Kuwait, the volunteer based humanitarian and sociocultural organization conducted its 10th Annual General Meeting on Friday, 21st January 2011 at United Indian School Auditorium, Abbassiya.
His Excellency the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Mr. Ajai Malhotra was chief guest to inaugurate the event and inspired the volunteers and members with his eloquent inaugural speech. Many personalities from different walks of life attended the event and shared their experience and vision on compassion to fellowmen and the responsibility of each human-being to care others in the society. Many evaluated the efforts of Santhwanam as a social experiment which is fuelled by the integral goodness of the human being. The President and the General Secretary of Santhwanam addressed the audience with detailed reports on activities carried out for the year 2010. Financial statement was tabled by the Treasurer and approved by the AGM.
The Annual Souvenir called "SMARANIKA 2010" was released by H.E. Indian Ambassador in the event. The souvenir contains whole activities for the year 2010 including various reports.
FREE ENTRY The event witnessed a hearty farewell to one of advisory board member Mr.
Sivaraman who is leaving to India after completing his expatriate life in Kuwait. He was actively involved in Santhwanam's activities since its inception.
