About Us
Santhwanam Kuwait is a registered organization with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, providing direct and indirect care to diseased, distressed, homeless, highly needy individuals & poor families in India & Kuwait.
Millions of people around us are deprived of basic needs and other privileges due to their poor economic and social conditions. As human beings, it is our social and moral responsibility to stretch a helping hand to needy fellow men in need. With a clear vision in mind and determination in our hearts, we provide possible help for medical treatment to such economically backward patients. ​ The members voluntarily contribute possible amounts every month and are utilised to provide financial assistance to poor and helpless people in acute distress. Since its inception in 2001, Santhwanam has moved to the status of pioneering relief and service organisation among the Indian community in Kuwait assisting many poor patients and underprivileged families.

We have a strength of almost 3000 members and well-wishers with 50 active volunteers in Kuwait and extend financial assistance to an average of 80 poor patients each month. Many more benefit through our various special social welfare programs designed for each year, including regular help to needy individuals in Kuwait for repatriation & further medical treatment.

Santhwanam joins hands with other social welfare organisations and institutions for rehabilitating physically and mentally retarded poor children and adults. In association with Devaki Warrier Memorial Women's Studies & Empowerment Centre, it facilitates free/subsidised accommodation at “VISHRAM SANKETH” for cancer patients and their bystanders coming from faraway places of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Kerala for treatment to Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum.
