Chronic illnesses place a heavy on individuals and families, particularly those with financial struggles. Santhwanam Kuwait provides vital monthly support for medications and treatments, 84 families manage their conditions without financial stress.

 

This assistance is made possible by the generosity of the Indian expatriate community in Kuwait, with each family sponsored by an. As the need for support grows, Santhwanam Kuwait remains hopeful for continued compassion in the future.

At Santhwanam, we’re excited to offer financial assistance for a variety of medical treatments, from surgeries to specialized therapies! Each month, we proudly support at least 40 patients through requests received via social media, our amazing members, and dedicated social workers.

Our volunteers work hand-in-hand with local authorities to meticulously review each case, ensuring that support is always validated. In our monthly meetings, our passionate committee discusses every case to determine the ideal amount to disburse, directly transferring funds to patients or their families for treatment needs. With a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and integrity, Santhwanam is truly making a difference in the lives of those we serve!

The journey of the Indian community in Kuwait begins with dreams of a better life. However, life's uncertainties often bring unexpected challenges such as illnesses, financial crises, job instability, accidents, visa frauds, and prolonged hospital stays. In these moments of adversity, families back home bear the burden of sadness and mental strain. At Santhwanam Kuwait, we support our expatriate brothers and sisters, standing with them in solidarity. Collaborating with social workers and socio-cultural organisations, we offer assistance under all circumstances.

In the aftermath of tragedies, children are often left orphaned and uncertain about their futures. The post-COVID world has left countless families shattered, with children facing an uncertain future. Many who endure critical illnesses with their parents are forced to abandon their dreams of higher education due to the financial strain of medical treatments.

At Santhwanam Kuwait, we understand the power of education in breaking the cycle of poverty. We have launched programs to support students in various fields, including nursing, dental, paramedical, medical, engineering, and IT courses. By covering tuition fees for economically disadvantaged families, we empower children to pursue their dreams. Our education support fund provides financial assistance and hope to those in crisis, enabling students to aim for a brighter future filled with promise and possibilities.

Onam, Kerala's grand festival, symbolizes equality and unites Malayalees from all walks of life. At Santhwanam, we not only celebrate Onam but also strive to extend its essence to every corner of society. Since our inception, we have aimed to bring Onam's warmth to remote sections, including old age homes, orphanages, specially-abled schools, tribal colonies, plantation workers, palliative care centers, and distress relief centers. We honor their inherent worth and share the joy of Onam with dignity.

 

Each year, all 14 districts of Kerala experience Santhwanam's benevolence during Onam. We provide special support to patients under our continuous care and students receiving professional studies support. In 2023, we supported 102 families from Kasaragod district affected by endosulfan poisoning. With the help of noble souls, Santhwanam Kuwait brings joy to the most marginalized and remote sections of society, illuminating their lives with compassion and solidarity.
